At TWNTD, we believe in user anonymity and expression without fear of corporate retaliation. We minimize data collection to only what is necessary to maintain service operation, account authentication, and email notifications.
Our system includes automatic text anonymization tools. When posting rants or commentary, wrapping names or references in square brackets [e.g. John Smith] automatically replaces them with privacy-preserving pseudonyms to prevent doxxing and protect private individuals.
Your email address is stored securely and is strictly used for transactional account verification and essential activity updates (such as @mentions and replies). You can customize or disable email notification preferences anytime in your Profile settings. We never sell or share email addresses with third parties or corporate entities.
We use lightweight local storage tokens solely for keeping you authenticated during active sessions. We do not employ third-party advertising tracking cookies or telemetry trackers.
Users may request complete account data deletion at any time by contacting platform support or managing account preferences.
